My Dell Vostro 3710 had the same error, but the problem was the processor. If you can, first check if your RAM memory works on another machine. If the Ram works, it is the processor, I ordered one to verify (I had already bought a new motherboard and still had the same problem)

If you have this issue but it is only happening to videos in your web browser, remove and dark mode browser extensions you have installed.

I don't know if you respond to comments but I have a question. I just REPLACED not added my original RAM in my XPS 8940. Here is part of the problem. In my excitement I just yanked out the old sticks and did not pay attention which slot they came out of. I just put the upgraded RAM in the two white slots. I don't see any noticeable improvement of the performance it actually seems like multi taking is much slower now. My question, did I put them in the correct slot?

Anything to wrry about? Is a heatsink necessary? (not sure if I could fine one flat/thin enough to fit into the laptop though)

I have a question. I bought upgraded RAM for my 8940 the problem is I did not pay attention to which slots I took the original RAM out of. Do they go in the white or black slot. I discarded the old RAM.
